well, for a "normal" tech tank, below are the basic stuff you might want to have:

- co2 (go for pressurized, but still you have an option to DIY).
- Lighting
- cooling system (either a fan, or get a chiller).
- soils (ADA is highly recommended)
- basic fertilizer at least.
- filter is a must (for ur case, 1ft tank... HOB is okay already but if you want cannister also still can).

All the above got sell at any LFS that carries live plant but the price may varies. ADA stuffs, not all have. only some LFS. One of them is at East Aqua Ikano/MidValley.

Prices for the above ranging from RM200 up to more than RM1.5K. The ball is in your hands and it's depends on how thick your pocket

low moderate budget?
let's say around 200 shall we?
co2 tank is out of the scope then...maybe DIY co2 we have lotsa expect here

however low spec tank...ermmm
yea you can sure go for moss with DW

we here have low tech and high tech hobbyist..so i would say...u're at the right place my fren....lol....

low tech tank doesnt need rm200 so much i believe...1ft tank....below 100 can start already...but of course with low tech plant like moss...
