HOLY CRAP rm 900 for a c02 system?? How big is that tank ? Even with a solenoid, I doubt a normal c02 tank can cost that much. Maybe L or XL sized tanks.. but I don't recall seeing such products in Cty. Plus, what grade is the shrimp you bought? Care to show some pics?? I notice a lot of Penang aquascapers here, they're sorta dominating this thread :S And many are customers of CTY. Boy wouldn't they be happy to have you guys to buy their stuff Drew

Those, without better solidity picture, I can't say much about the colour.. But the paterns show V Band.. S- or A++ if I'm not wrong.. Need yujin on this. Drew Added on April 28, 2009, 8:36 amQUOTE(the_catacombs @ Apr 28 2009, 02:53 AM) aluminium tank with solenoid regulator... full spec ADA diffuser and tubings... no surprise can cost up to dat price... If it is ADA Diffuser 30 o+ ADA Cabachon Ruby + Okay la.. Normal tubing + ADA c02 tower + ADA Solenoid Regulator... Then it can easily get to that price.. But as he stated.. ITS FREAKING JBL!!!!! (Plus CTY does not carry in ADA goods.) Rather not spend my money there. Drew This post has been edited by chuppy2: Apr 28 2009, 08:37 AM

So my main point was rm900 for a co2 kit Cty has to offer.. I remain skeptical . Since I don't recall them bringing in anything like the famous Japanese brand LOL let alone the famous german filters.. :/

C02 diffuser or reactor would be a good solution for properly diffusing it into your tank.. Reactors, I would only opt for them in larger tanks LOL! No science behind this(maybe) It's just me LOL. @Nezu, great attempts at macro, pic quite soft though.(What lens?) Drew

Dude, are you entering IALPC? if yes, don't post your full tank shots please, I can just take, edit a bit, and submit under my work.. if you send in the same work as well, youre entree might be revoked/disqualified... Just saying that now is a sensitive time to post your full tank shot Drew

@usermode, we improve by getting criticism. Just enter the AMC totm, I'm sure you'll fare well.
and I'd pity those boraras LOL!
also, Enter the IALPC to get experience, my entree last year was #8xx , not good. lol!! Let's see how i fare this year.
@pioneer Do you dose c02? if yes, it's normal. C02 is acidic. Also, don't change your pH (intentionally) it does more harm than good.

Fake girl is back LOL!! I thought he disappeared. @usermode, I'm not emphasizing on the competition and the loot, it's the response of the world, you know you're improving when people go wahh(like many here are at your pics now!) But gaming is addictive as always, good choice of hobby to distract you from it(You an I , same case!) Drew

I suggest c02 first, no point getting a chiller when plant's can't thrive. Or just get both and be done with it. In the second hand market, a CL650 is about rm 500~650 That's all I know off. Drew Added on May 4, 2009, 10:09 amOh, and the transfer isnt done yet, busy these days, moving out my marine tank, taking my tank picture for IALPC... you know the drill. I really suggest getting a c02 tank first.. So what if your water is cold and your plants are having trouble breathing? I mean mosses and ferns would be delighted, not too sure about others though. DIY c02 can do, but just save yourself the ehadache first LOL!

25c would be perrrfect.. Why can't you find 36 w ?? I thought I offered you lots of choices already .. They may not be great eye candy but it's most idealogic and practical for your tank size and budget.. If you're really keen on cosmetic views for such a small tank.. It'll be my nano light.. But that itself is already your overall budget LOL .. Try surveying more..
