nope bro. no new plants, nothing is new in that tank as the tank already matured for so long and i didnt add anything in it. the last plant added was somewhere in february.

sifoos and taikors... newbie here got a few questions wanna ask... can ah??..

now i got a running 1.5ft tank in my room... and soon to have 2ft tank (after i clean up the silicon).... gonna use 1 for normal planted and fish tank while another mainly for shrimps....

which should i go for shrimp tank??.. i've considered a few options...

1.5ft is smaller, hence can locate my shrimps easier.... and it is up and running... i dont need to take 3-4weeks to run in the tank before start having shrimps inside.... but the problem is unstable water parameter compare to larger 2ft tank...

2ft tank i gonna start a new... new ADA soil (most probably)... new scape and so on... will need time to run in the tank before having shrimps inside...

in the mean time i'm considering having 1.5ft as shrimps only tank and 2ft for fish tank as it has larger room for more community fish... but i'm gonna locate my 1.5ft tank in room with water temp 29oC at highest temp... afraid my shrimps wont make it.... i already had fan running for this tank...

2ft tank gonna put in living room... which i believe much cooler environment compare to my room... 2ft tank will have more stable/lower water temp...
which should i choose??... 1.5ft for shrimp or fish??...

tank location is fixed as 2ft cant fit inside my room and the 1.5ft has no extra space outside the living room...

2ft for shrimps......as drew and yujin mention..higher volume...more stable ur parameters are.... ..IMHO tho

I agree with playerseeker here, if you're serious with CRS, then go for the 2feeter, less headaches

And if you're just for shrimp and low tech plants .. 55w is nice.

lol bro drew thats price rm400 just a joke for bro pinch coz ofcorse he know how much im buying thats chiller...its rm150 and its a crazy chop chop is i selling for rm400 lol...dont think got ppl will buy it if i sell rm400 unless he is rich....for a newbie like me im still studying about this chiller thing so hope u and who ever can give me some input for it

ermm bout the kick start i think every 10 min its will kick start if u means there chiller getting to the temp i set...every 10 min from 27'c then go to 25'c...sory if what im answering is wrong coz still noob in training here

yes, like yu jin said, sprinkle water on it from time to time when you;re tying moss. that's what i did most of the time whenever i tying, seperating before planting, etc...

i did that for all plants evne glosso, HC, HG...everything just take water spray bottle and keep spraying them. dont let them dried out.
