Hello! Why don't you start the ball rolling by telling us your opinions first as a TS? That way it'll be easier to carry the discussion forward. ^___^
I only read 'EMMA' so far and I have difficulty finishing it, possibly because I was not used to such slow pacing (am used to reading fantasy). It's been a while since I finished it and in all honesty, I couldn't remember much out of the book, maybe I should try rereading it again...

TS> nah it's her copy. I borrowed it because you suggested earlier. But yeah, romance is definitely out of my league! T^T I usually read fantasy, thriller, detectives, horror, or anything in between...

TS> You can just call(err type? ) me Fey. I don't know how to abbr your nick though XD Oh no, Chinese romance is even worse, IMHO. I can predict the story til it became absolutely boring. I think I prefer being surprised.. although admitedly, some of the books I've read were also somewhat predictable but the actions gave it some extra values...

SS> Aha. Nah, sci-fi is off the rack. I do read some Chinese historical/mythical novels though, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Journey to the West, Water Margin.. that kind.
Let's go back to JA for now. I'll try to pick up P&P again after I am done with Angels & Demons and hopefully I'll be able to finish it.
PS: IMHO = In My Humble/Honest Opinion

OH! That reminds me! I've read Jane Eyre! In my school days for Eng Lit. I did finished that one! Come to think of it, it's the reason why I bought Emma, but unfortunately it's now spinning spider's web on my bookshelf *facepalms*
