hello~i have a question to ask for help from you all~
i had bought a Yamah FC-5 Sustain Pedal,
but when i plug in to my CASIO WK-1800 Keyboard and step on it to play..
it didn't show me any sustain Effect,but only show me sustain effect when i put-off my leg and play..
anyone please help me?? sad.gif rclxub.gif

could be polarity issue here. can u find any polarity switch on the pedal or the keyboard?

the pedal is different from the normal pedal the keyboard is configured for. so its inverted - opposite functions.

on some keyboards there is a way to change the polarity of the pedal (make it work opposite), but if dun have then u have to get a new pedal.

the other alternative (if there's no polarity switch), & if you are familiar with wiring/soldering, open the jack on the pedal & swap the wiring. i'll do this if i were u wink.gif
