Roughly how much is the SideWinder X5 retailing now? looks very interesting. Seems about time MS revived their status as a gaming peripherals maker.

Also is the mouse suitable for "Claw grip" users? hmm.gif

+1. Cheapest indeed. Am wondering does the X3 still going for RM49 at Sri Computer ??

[Ed.]

lord_amikin just posted yesterday in Gaming Mouse Vee III #1064 that he bought one recently, and captvizcenzo #1067 confirmed it's still RM49 at Sri Computer. Jolly good!

New owner of Sidewinder X3 reporting in.

Not sure about the Sri Comp, but guy who sell this RM110 for 2 unit is still at the garage sales. But I didn't really recommend this guy. Not quite prompt and my package (box) is a bit torn.

On the other hand, can I register my Sidewinder to Microsoft for the 3 years warranty even I didn't get receipt from seller? How to claim the warranty? In my case, i can't really find Sidewinder X3 from the drop-down-list at the registration page, in fact not even normal wired laser mouse from the option. How the heck am I suppose to register then?

Any help would highly appreciated. Thanks ~

New Sidewinder X3 user reporting in. Got it for RM49 from Sri Computer. It took the crown of best for buck gaming mouse from MX518. Definitely a must buy for gamers.

If anyone here owns the Sidewinder X6, can you check the PrtScn, ScrLk and Pause buttons for me? Mine seems to be slightly harder to press than the other buttons. It also seems to spring up slowly instead of immediately like my other buttons. Doesn't feel natural so I'm just checking.

I'm a owner of Sidewinder X6 for one year and Sidewinder X5 for 6 month. The keyboard is very good and the absent of tilt feature doesn't really bug me that much. In my personal opinion, much more comfortable to type and play games with. As for the mouse, good clicking feedback and comfortable to use with my big hand. And also the 2 red lights below the mouse sure make the mouse more 'Darth Vaderly'...hehe...

So far no problem occurred to me like you stated above.. The keys tactile feeling are just the same as other keys on the keyboard.

Well, it's fine now. Went over to Thundermatch to get it swapped. It works properly now. smile.gif
