If you're buying a copy version, don't expect it to sound like a Gibson or even an Epiphone (although some might argue that they are roughly the same..... I still think a copy is a copy).......

What kind of "v" are you thinking of? More of the classic Gibson V,

or the more extreme Jackson V?

i think if u hype up your budget to 1500 bucks you could find an epiphone flying V no? those should do better than the SX, Stagg copies etc...

I also agree that maybe you should top up a few more hundred to get a PROPER Epiphone Flying V. Maybe can PM Deadeye or Gapnap for a better price???

yeah..actually ive tried the starsun before...it was a pretty gud guitar with a price below ur budget...
the tone is actually ok..neither bad nor good..but the sustain..perghhh~..if u dont mind bout the brands, why not try this guitar..
or like others say, save a bit of money, and get ur self a jackson rhoads..maybe the epiphone are way out of ur budget, but it is sure worth the amount of money u are paying for it...

just my 2 cent... icon_rolleyes.gif
