My personal blog. Nothing special about the contents, though, since, well, it's a personal blog. Not specialised e.g. comic, games, photography.

I've recently upgraded to Wordpress (Was previously using HTML to update my posts/whole blog), and am thus, just getting the hang of it. I'm not using widgets for the layout.

I'm currently looking for a good Twitter plugin/application that can display up to, say, 6 Tweets, in preferable point form and can be updated from my Wordpress dashboard, Twitter and mobile phone. I tried Twitter Tools, and while it's good (Up to my aesthetic preference), I can't seem to display any of my Tweets even though I've followed the ReadMe, etc. and have it installed correctly.

I'm also looking for a stats counter, something like Site Meter. I might want to add Site Meter into my sidebar, but how do I add another (separate) category (As in the code)?

Any help/suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks wink.gif

if u're referring to the section on the sidebar, it is called widget.
ok real quick;
-login into ur wordpress admin
-look at your left menu, scroll down a bit till u find "Appearance"
-click on widgets
-make sure u have ur current sidebar showed, if not select from the dropdown list
-from the widgets list choose "Text" the click add
-u will notice a new widget "text" have been added on the right side.
-click edit and u need to put the site meter code here.
-click done and save
-done smile.gif

I see. Thanks for the tip biggrin.gif

I'm not using widgets for my sidebar though, but more PHP coding for the sidebar file. Wonder if it will work. I will try it out and let you know.

Found a way to add the Site Meter code to the sidebar laugh.gif The widget one works, but considering the rest of my stuff are not widgets (PHP code on sidebar.php file), adding a widget kind of screws things a little. However, that lead me to experiment a bit with stuff and learnt something new smile.gif

Now I still need a Twitter application/plugin sad.gif
