i am planning to get disgaea: afternoon of darkness because i played FFT: war of the lions and i LOVE it immensely.

The question is,

is Disgaea: afternoon of darkness provide the same amount of fun in terms of gameplay in comparison to FFT:WoTL?

I know both games are different from many aspects such as disgaea has a 'lighter' story in comparison to FFT. But i just want to know the general review of the game and whether should i spend my money in getting ori version of the game or not.

I am the kind of person who wants a good story and gameplay for the games i played because i would want to play over and over again and enjoy myself everytime i replayed it.

actually dun u think its a bit weird tat psp3k still cannot be hack even though they r using the same ta-088v3 motherboard......

woohoo, disgaea, a patient game, but the story reaaaaaaaaaaallllllllllllllly funny and reaaaaaaaallllllllyyyyyy enjoyable!!! i spent a month just playing dat game, suck at first, then got addicted, and then the rest is history...it made the fft looks like childs play..hahaha, buy it brooo, u wont regret it!!!

That is true, but not entirely. The CFW enabler is a really simple tweak that breaks the prevention code that Davee added and it just flashes several files to the flash 0, but it doesn't overwrite any. Of course, anything can cause bricks, even if flash 0 is not being accessed, but the chances of bricking when installing the cfw enabler is slim.

He developed the exploit in order to allow homebrew to be run on psp units, and he strictly said that he doesn't want to include iso loaders and so on, so yea, i know it's your psp, your choice, your wish and all, but just keep the chat on iso's low here.
