You can buy readymade from Jusco for example or go to Nagoya/Kamdar/or any other shops for tailormade.

Get ready to part with $$$ -tailormade are quite expensive. sweat.gif sweat.gif

@kswong77,
I've a pretty good curtain-maker to recommend but she doesn't come cheap. She believes in using high quality materials hence unless Ur willing to spend the $ there's no point my recommending smile.gif

PS: Mom used her when she shifted into this new home and to-date our curtains are still very much in mint condition - it doesn't even look old [of course, we play a role in keeping it proper too!]. Another relative who shifted into her new home a year later decided to go with a cheaper option but she has since replaced her curtains twice / thrice.

Let me know if U want the contact who's based at DJ.

Hi , Try Homes Harmony compare to MACY & SSF which is quite expensive -
the Price is ok, reasonable for me... they still have ranges about Rm 20++ to Rm 30 ++ per Meter....
if u can waith , wait till they have Sales ..... got 20% discount .... beside that they also offer installation services which the charges is Reasonable .... thumbup.gif

* there's also a lot of independent Curtain shops out there... biggrin.gif

If u have a Tight budget , if not maybe u can try to buy the Materials & get those tailor to do for u ..... ,
Get the rail from D.IY shop & install urself... laugh.gif

Just get from Nagoya, tailor made but cheap...price comparable to ready made but looks ++ better. You just have to buy and install your own curtain rails/rods.

@kswong77,
Depending on how much cloth you need for the entire house, RM5k seems like a pretty reasonable sum to me?! *shrugs*

I've loads of windows in my home so RM5k's definitely not sufficient, maybe just enough for the rooms *grins* But like I said in my earlier posts, we did spend quite a bit on curtains.

hi tinkerbel,

u r really invested in the curtain. compare to grills, which one is more expensive?

for me, RM5k+ is approximate to the grill price already. so, i feel not comfort on this price. tongue.gif

Anyone has made their curtain from Acacia curtain shop from Serdang Raya?

The price that they quote me was reasonable but I am not sure about their workmanship.

Consult a curtain specialist and obtain everything from there. I've got a couple to recommend. See how much you're quoted for then get out there and seek alternatives.

IMO, curtain, sheer and blind do make a huge difference to a space. Just go for within the economical range - which is also subjective to each individual.

Want to know how to get cheap curtain accessories in Malaysia? Want to know where to purchase Curtains cheap in Malaysia or Kuala Lumpur? Looking for curtain accessories distibutor, manufacturer and wholesaler in Malaysia? Well Read On!.This is the right place. I am extremely satisfied after purchasing from them over 20 years!

I'll personally share and tell you how to get cheap curtain accessories etc in Malaysia. I have done this to 40-50 of my rental properties. THE CHEAPEST way to install curtain in your house.

All you need is
1) Curtain Railings (Aluminium <-- the best and last long)
2) Curtain Brackets (To hold railings)
3) Curtain Rollers (Self explanatory)
4) Curtain Hooks (Self Explanatory)
5) Curtain End Cap (To prevent rollers from sliding out)
6) Curtains

You can get item 1 to item 5 from:
Fo Sin Aluminium Dan Kaca Sdn Bhd
Address: No 850, Batu 4 1/2, Jalan Ipoh, 51200 Kuala Lumpur. (opposite of CIMB , MayBank, Am Bank)
Phone: 03-62577860

They are the manufacturer, distributor of aluminium extruded products. You won;t get it anywhere cheaper in malaysia. They supply to all curtain shops. Been there many times, extremely satisfied. Just thought of giving some opinion!

Try it and you'll know!

Next i'll tell you how to get cheapest building materials in my next post!
