Hi guys, would love to get some recommendations/ideas on to optimized my spending on mobile plan. Some backstory, recently I got a job and I decided to get a new number just to separate it from my personal life, mainly for convenience’s sake and storage since I will take a lot of pictures etc.

So, I’ve been using Digi Next 35 for the past few years for my main phone since I left celcom gold 2.0 and it was enough since I also got wifi at home, data was not that fast at times but its reliable enough and currently I am looking for another mobile plan alternative for my work number. Mainly looking at prepaid as I already put a monthly cap of rm100 in mind for mobile plans unless needed.

What I had in mind: -
1. Main: Digi Next 35 30gb, Work: Hotlink Pantas 40/75gb. Total cost: rm 70/80
2. Main: Hotlink Pantas 20gb, Work: Digi Next 35 30gb. Total cost: rm 60

Both plans have unlimited calls which I think is redundant but a benefit I am willing to pay for. My only main concern would be whatsapp/telegram data usage would be heavy for my work phone. 5g not really my concern as 4g speed is enough for my usage coupled with from what I've gathered 5g drains batter more. the line just need to be stable and throughout my search, maxis/celcom/digi seems to be better for the area I mainly will be which includes Subang Jaya/Klang/Selangor/KL. Hence, what I had in mind.

I am open to any suggestions/thoughts/alternatives. Thank you.

because im using 2 separate phones for 2 separate purpose and just in case one doesnt work in an area im working in at that time. currently, 2 combination of plans under rm100 like the ones i listed is what i could think of.

i am curious how fast do u need the internet speed to be just to use browser smoothly cause the unlimited 6/10/12 mbps is kinda intriguing

tagged him for u smile.gif hjh87

thank u for taking your time to read and give suggestions, appreciate it! JLA
