Guy, just want to clarify one thing about latest Celcom Gold pla. Currentl does Fair Usage Policy apply to celcom plan? What I know is u can carry forward maximum 5GB of data to next billing. But let say if I've used exceed the allocated quota will the speed slow down but still usable without any extra charges?

Hi guys,

I'm seeking a recommendation on whether to stick with Digi or switch to U Mobile. Let me explain the current problem I'm facing. I've been using Digi Postpaid 50 2022 for quite some time, mainly between the locations of Klang and Terengganu, and I've been enjoying stable and acceptable speeds (for me) up until recently.

Lately, my Digi connection has been noticeably slower indoors in Klang. I'm not sure if Digi is in the process of upgrading their network or if they have capped the speed for old subscribers like me and are encouraging us to switch to newer plans.

I contacted customer service to address the issue, and their response was surprising. They mentioned that my area isn't even covered by Digi 4G. This left me curious, as I've been using it without any problems for the past few years. Could the transition to 5G be affecting the 4G coverage?

As a result, I decided to purchase a U Mobile Postpaid 38 plan and started testing it out in Terengganu (I have yet to test it in Klang). The speed is outstanding compared to my old Digi connection, but it seems to be very unstable when used indoors.

I'm wondering if anyone else is facing similar issues with Digi, both in terms of speed and coverage. Your insights would be greatly appreciated.

why both plan need data ?
My suggestions
main sim + data = digi next unlimited 40. 999gb + unlimited call. RM40/month

backup data = uni5G bebas + data never expire. . As long dont do speed test or video data will last
uni5g now can use maxis network. last week maxis got problem but uni5G with maxis no problem
@hjh87
being use digi since 3G
coverage / speed /price are good
now my kampong got MOCN tower. Digi sometime turn off band 1 3  during early morning until next day to save power. trigger by network load or whatever.

I remember I did complain Digi to mcmc like several year back with bad coverage. At that time they said don't have plan to upgrade their tower at my area so give an offer. Fast forward 3 year later still gave same reply "tower not upgraded yet". doh.gif
