need advice about hotlink and postpaid. currently still using hotlink, but i'm considering changing to maxis value first postpaid plan. is it worth the change? i'm kinda lazy to keep reloading, and also wanna avoid facing the situation where i have no more credit when i need to make emergency sms or calls. and can i revert back to hotlink if i change to postpaid?

Currently using hotlink prepaid, but i plan to jump to prepaid, and i need advice on which telco and which data plan to take. currently i see that celcom and maxis have what i want, but might consider other telcos too.
budget is around rm50. my current prepaid usage is also around rm30-rm50, sometimes more as i tend to online using 3g once in a while. so if the plan has unlimited data usage then it would be good. please advice. thanks.

what's the best postpaid plan suitable for my usage now? currently on hotlink, usage maybe about RM50, sometimes more sometimes less. i would want to look for a postpaid plan which includes data connection usage too.

thanks

hey guys,

my hotlink prepaid data plan will be expiring next month (after using 1 year), and i would be needing another data plan. which would you guys recommend - cheapest and best coverage?

i have 2 options now i think, which is - 1) sticking to hotlink prepaid + maxis data plan; or 2) convert to postpaid + data plan. which would you guys recommend?

from what i know, umobile postpaid is the cheapest, but after reading some complains from the umobile thread i'm a bit skeptical hmm.gif

Umobile still weak in term of stability..
the thing is, how much you use..?  call/ sms ?

I would suggest VPI 50 ,

as you can see , free 250MB data, free 100SMS , free 100 minutes of calls  ,

currently i topup about RM30 or more per month..so maybe VPI 50 should be suitable right? but data plan is only 250MB sad.gif

what if i want a better data plan?

currently using iPhone 3GS. normally whatsapp, facebook, email. youtube only occasionally. downloading apps and viber calls also occasionally on 3g if i'm not at home. otherwise i'll be on wifi.

yeah i quite agree with you about maxis and celcom. i'm also considering either this two, after hearing and reading feedback from people.

@kae7,

i've checked my usage for the past month, about 100 SMS and 75 minutes of calls. So which plan would be better?

Celcom Exec 20, Maxis VPI50 or Maxis Value First 30?

as i've told you in some earlier posts, i'm using iphone 3gs, currently on a 500mb data plan but i barely reach the limit. most of the time just 300mb+, sometimes less. so is 250mb enough?
