I am also writing in to seek advices from sekalian.

I am currently using maxis hotlink. I would like to seek other operator as the network coverage of maxis at my house/area is terrible. My gf and I often have problem exchanging calls/smses.

Our call/sms patterns is we sms more often than calls. We exchange about 900 smses between us in a month. (I send her 15 sms in a day. 15sms x 2 (my sms to her, her sms to me) x 30 days)

In regards to calls, I doubt we spent less than 20minutes on the phone EACH day. So a cool 12 hours of conversation in a month is surely sufficient.

Now to the question. What are the available plans which could suit my gf and me? Note, we only SMS and Call. We dont MMS/GPRS/3G/watever technology is available now.

All we want to achieve is just to be able to call and sms on a stronger network here in my hse so we wont be delayed in receiving/sending sms as well as drop in calls on a CHEAPER rate.

Our monthly usage bill is lesser than RM30 each of us. Meaning, she and myself only spend RM30 EACH on our call charges. A large chunk of this amount is also spent on calls and sms-es between her and me. (yes, we dont have another life outside from she and me haha).

Any good recommendation is well appreciated!

ps: i am thinking of getting an EXTRA line with my gf on tunetalk to get a nice couple no. perhaps? I am also aware of the pesky AD we'd need to listen before calls. So probably just open two tunetalk line to get the number and port to another telco (except maxis). Any other bad feedbacks so far from porting out of tunetalk to another line? banyak hassle? if banyak, then i wont open tunetalk. saje nak gatal sikit.
