Any suggestion telco/plan if only to receive OTP?  Currently on XOX and receiving SMS is very unreliable.

area dependent though,
digi & maxis overall perform well for me 👍

my area has good celcom coverage but i still hv bad experience with tunetalk.
thinking to switch when my validity end

hotlink pantas works great if call is not priority.
volte & vowifi, in app reward deals, share credit and one year validity Internet is awesome😉

hi, at the hotlink web, new sim pantas package cost RM25 with RM2 credit and 10GB high speed internet with validity 1 years.
if i just need # and not making any call, will the sim valid for 1 year (since it has DATA which valid for 1 year) or i still need to buy the validity package?
*
need to reload rm10 for every 30 days or purchase one year validity for rm30.
can also accumulate credit by topping for first 3 months then purchase the yearly validity 😁

Same situation here sad.gif Is there a way for us to check which network has the best coverage in a certain area?
*
I use perf app but it's better to purchase cheap prepaid sim to test run, give it a week or two before switching the main line over.

Wow... never try celcom... this offer is long term?
Nice.. best option I see here is Digi Next.. no 5G here and UMobile not doing well
*
not sure but i have it since port in, others claim been using it for months. if your prior is 5G may want to check area coverage for other telco before decide.

another plan worth consider (hotlink pantas):

yes it should be, but i’ve got charge rm10 at certain places by corrupted CS, due to me tired of educating and save the hassle of travel far, i took the offer 🙄
Looking forward online esim activation from this brand soon.

umobile vowifi is the best, maxis worst.

digi okay, but always disconnect halfway, especially when overseas

umobile rock solid in malaysia and overseas

maxis celcom block overseas

maxis in malaysia only works when signal below 2 bar

totally useless
*
thanks for the info Sir,
maybe i give umobile a try then, heard a lot great things recently.
how about their prepaid roaming? is it stable too?

umobile usually picks the cheapest network to roam, as they give free roaming, but i've used it in canada, usa, uk, france, germany, thailand and singapore with no issues.

I switched to maxis because of the fibre promotion. 159 for 1gbps.
*
let me try their prepaid and see how’s the coverage for my area nowadays, me doesn’t have luck with maxis though 😆

You're lucky, someone got charged rm50, if im not mistaken.. But rm10 seems ok, just peace of mind for not arguing with cs
*
I accept rm50 if within 100km my radius doesn’t have another digi center or better port to other telco and enjoy the latest technology online esim activation 🙊

If they ask me to pay that much, i will ask for a copy of invoice
*
Their corruption SOP:
- system down
- under maintenance
- can’t provide receipt

Yes they are that thick skin since they’re not shy to ask for money in the first place 🙊
i’ll pay for conveniency, all depends on mood too, because i had few times those sleepy CS telling me esim not available for prepaid 🤣
and that’s worst case for me when i know i need to travel again😵‍💫
They also have the cheek to further made up more lies to support their lazy intention misinformation in the first place…
a little price i’m willing to pay to play and myself to blame because itchy to get esim where physical sim can do the same job 🤣
