I am using Digi prepaid and have about RM300 credits. I would like to get a phone + package bundle offered my Digi / Maxis / Celcom. Is there any way I can:

1) Keep the same number and contact list
2) Transfer my RM300 value to a new prepaid credit or use it to offset a postpaid charge?

Thank you.

2. if, u port from prepaid to postpaid with same telco (in ur case, digi), then ur credit will be credited back in ur postpaid bill, later. so can consider to offset postpaid bill, but not postpaid upfront charges.
thank you. this is very assuring smile.gif

1. contact list can store to gmail account (just google how to with your current phone model). example old sony ericsson can sync to gmail using MyPhoneExplorer software. later in new phone just sync back the contact list using same gmail account.
Oh means will get a new number. Do they provide a notification service to all number in contact list that i have change number? Now i wonder how do people inform everyone that they change their number sweat.gif

Another question is, for digi smart plan 1G data, when reach the 1G limit, do they throttle the line or can exceed then charge us?

Thanks smile.gif

ur welcome.

no, not 'will get' new number doh.gif

its up to you either want to get new number or not. its not will get sweat.gif
u can still use ur same old number and just port to other telco.
no need for new number.

btw, no notification service. people just sms or whatsapp/viber/line/fb now to inform new number.
why need to change new number when u can just use ur old number? laugh.gif

Hmm ya, thought about opening WTS to sell too but it is not as simple as i thought (or they already change the terms? so long never do dy).

Max transfer option is RM5, valid 2 days. Max transfer per month is RM40.
A service charge of 50 sen will apply to Transferor and 25 sen to Transferee

So if i get this right, to transfer RM200:
- Have to do 200/5 = 40 times, no idea if the validity will stack up
- Need to have 200/40 = 5 months to cllear all RM200 doh.gif
- Service charge: 0.5*40 = RM20 (transferor) and 0.25*10 = RM10 (transferee)

Wah really ketuk people one...cant they just allow one lumpsum transfer sad.gif
