Hi all sifus, I been using Maxis all my life, 1st telco and been loyal since then. But wanted to try Celcom because I am paying Maxis RM50 for only 5GB, nothing else. End up paying about RM70 per month + the additional calls.
Saw Celcom got RM38 with 8GB and unlimited calls. Really want to stop simping for Maxis and try Celcom. Last time Maxis was good for coverage and fast Internet speed. However, lately seems like Celcom is not far behind and is able to complete neck-to-neck with Maxis. Got kawan-kawan here who ported from Maxis to Celcom? Can share your experience? Good or bad? Regret or happy? Thanks all for the info sharing. |

QUOTE(xyfix @ Jul 25 2020, 09:56 AM) Hi all, i’m looking for postpaid recommendation to switch provider & supplement no. Yes, I would like to know too.- Less than RM100 for both numbers (main+sup) - High speed - Call unlimited - Data usage just around 20GB per month - No contract if possible Any suggestion? Currently using UMobile & plan to use other provider. Thanks P/s: Area PJ Currently looking for the same package as yours .. 'no contract' plan, high speed internet and unlimited calls, usage around 20GB - 30GB (for work). Budget is less than RM 100. I saw Celcom Mega Lightning base plan package at RM80 /mth .. 40GB high speed, unlimited calls, but not sure got contract or not. EDIT: I just called Celcom CS , and they mentioned this plan is contract free. So I end up taking Celcom Mega Lightning plan rm80 /mth. - 40GB high speed internet - unlimited calls - no contract - hotspot bandwidth according to base plan which is 40GB ..meets my requirement. Hi sifu,
Need recommendations. Data usage: prefer unlimited data Special requirements: travel overseas (mostly Asia Pacific countries) frequently (2 trips per month, 2 to 4 days per trip). So really need cheap data roaming to watch video to pass time. Prefer prepaid plan, but if postpaid is better will definitely consider. Thanks for helping. |

anyone know how to calculate total termination fee for celcom?
Plan : Celcom Mobile Gold plus (Free F9 Oppo phone) Monthly fee : rm150 (main+sub) Start Date : 24/11/2018 End Date : 23/11/2020 Cancellation Fee : 166.67 as you can see there a few more month before the contract end. im planning to terminate both of the main and sub number once the contract ended. probably gonna go for digi plan+phone next. but suddenly my wifu want to keep her sub line number. duh. so i guess i just port the numbers later. so how do i port it? let say i do it after contract end. need to terminate at celcom first or can just port directly at digi store? and what if i terminate now? do i need to pay the 3 month bills+termination fee? |

QUOTE(elairz @ Aug 13 2020, 11:14 AM) anyone know how to calculate total termination fee for celcom? MNP is usually done at the telco you want to move to, but if still under contract the MNP initiative will fail because the current telco will block the porting process.Plan : Celcom Mobile Gold plus (Free F9 Oppo phone) Monthly fee : rm150 (main+sub) Start Date : 24/11/2018 End Date : 23/11/2020 Cancellation Fee : 166.67 as you can see there a few more month before the contract end. im planning to terminate both of the main and sub number once the contract ended. probably gonna go for digi plan+phone next. but suddenly my wifu want to keep her sub line number. duh. so i guess i just port the numbers later. so how do i port it? let say i do it after contract end. need to terminate at celcom first or can just port directly at digi store? and what if i terminate now? do i need to pay the 3 month bills+termination fee? |
