Yes, for the RM 70 example.

I'm not sure of Maxis' credit limit. smile.gif
For DG 50 is RM 400 credit limit. smile.gif

also if i want to subscribe additional 2 sub lines for my family members, what would be commitment fee be calculated? so far maxis is offering RM30 for each like if i am not mistaken , is that means that the commitment fee will also have RM 30 of call usage before additional charges, same as the main subscription.?

thanks for all the help guys smile.gif

That means RM 30 x 2 lines = RM 60
Plus yours is RM 50, so total RM 110.
Assuming these three lines do not exceed RM 30 and RM 50 commitment fees, else you will pay for the additional charges.

need some help

i was on maxis value 50 package with a family 30 package for my sub line. my commitment was 80 a month and we can share credit

then i convert to i value 1 plan with a commitment of rm100 but my sub line still on family 30. problem now is i can't share credit.

it's no longer feasible to maintain the sub line at 30 coz it'll always be under utilised.

i'm thinking of converting the sub line to HYC since sub line user is < 25yo. apparently HYC is discontinued since last week.

looks like my only option now is UOX

my criteria is

- long validity period like UOX till u're 25 ?
- cheap call n sms rate like 15 cents calls to all operators and maybe 5 cents ?

what other options do i have ?

hello~~

anyone can recommend me which is the cheapest for data + voice package?

for postpaid. my voice & sms usage very minimum, so need the minimum plan. data monthly limit the smallest is also ok but must after reach the limit the telco will throttle my speed, not calculate based on 1cent per kb. so maxis is out since they will charge usage above the limit. iinm u-mobile also charge for usage above limit?

Currently I'm using Hotlink normal prepaid plan, since HYC already not available to port in for old number since i want to retain my old number. I often sms, but the normal plan is killing me plus the call rate also about 30 cents/min. Any prepaid plan out there for me that always sms but less call ?

Anyone can explain this to me..

The NEW Hotlink Plan says u get Lifetime Validity..
In the website, it says:
=============================================================================
LIFETIME VALIDITY
- All subscribers are given lifetime validity upon sign up
- Just need to top up airtime OR purchase Hot Ticket with min. RM5 every 3 months
ELIGIBILITY OF LIFETIME VALIDITY
- Subscriber MUST Top up Airtime/ Hot Ticket min RM5 every 3 months to enjoy Lifetime Validity
- Min RM5 Airtime/ Hot Ticket top up gives 90 days validity
- After topping up RM5, lifecycle will be extended to 90 days.
==============================================================================
Quoted from hotlink website..
Hotlink

Correct me if im wrong, doesnt topping up to retain your number means its NOT lifetime validity???
isnt it what we've been doing all these while, ie. top up rm30 for 30 days, or top up rm60 for 60 days etc.???

where is the lifetimeness in it? can someone please correct me coz im not sure whether im wrong or maxis is wrong~~

Answer to borgun's post if can get any, will be interesting.

I guess I am on "old" Hotlink. Can I switch to New with the same number?

Please help with another question: Which company gives the least expensive way to maintain a seldom used prepaid? E.g. Repeated RM5 top up per longest validity period.

Yeah you are correct, diginet. When there is no internet activity, it will automatically disconnect and will reconnect when you need it.
