for family ride; which spec tire are suitable?
205/45/R16; 205/50/R16 or 205/55/R16.
currently my persona is on 205/55/R16 but whenever 5 ppl is accommodate in the car...the tyre hit the bar...especially riding on bumpy road...
My concern is the next time i change my tyres after it worn i would go for thinner tyres 205/50/R16 or 205/45/R16
any help?

QUOTE(cheeann @ Apr 21 2009, 11:52 PM) thanks mate! Added on April 25, 2009, 12:01 amQUOTE(GRexer @ Apr 22 2009, 05:02 PM) Maybe you can try using 16x6.5 for your sport rims instead, might be a bit harder to find but it's a better fit. 16x7 and 205/55R16 wif too big an offset(meaning smaller digits) will make the tyres hit your fender. You can opt for 205/50R16 as well but it's a "rarer" size in terms of Malaysian tyre sales and *might* cost significantly more. Hm... I've heard cases of guys on stock suspension Vios hitting the inside of the fenders on full lock wif 195/55R15 but couldn't really confirm as I don't know their rim spec thanks for the guide buddy!..but currently i've added 2 inch rubber on the rear springs to heightened a bit....but later if i switch to 205/50 it would have a big gap between the tyre & fender....now i can insert my four fingers......later will be 5...which is quite ugly if i drive alone.. QUOTE(beyondpain79 @ May 14 2010, 11:20 PM) 205/45/R16 yokohama a.drive -RM215 (mei 2010) at hock li,klang inclusive balancing just change last week bro 205/50/R16 how much it cost? Added on May 26, 2010, 11:00 amQUOTE(michael9413 @ May 18 2010, 01:05 PM) PS3 where you get that price, good bargain then if not take GY F1 GSD3 (King of Wet) nice also, both tire good in wet and dry... Parada is not that good lo even Hankook V12 is better than it... RE-001 should be more expensive than Hankook V12 and PS3, Toyo T1R also... performance wise is GSD3 and PS3 then follow buy Hankook V12, RE001 and T1R... Padara out already Nice buy is Hankook V12 (about RM200), then PS3 (RM220~250) and GSD3 (<RM250)... RE001 and T1R is ok also but not Parada Spec 2, S Drive is better hi michael, do hankook V12 have 205/50/R16 SIZE? This post has been edited by krk24: May 26 2010, 11:00 AM
