QUOTE(ernest0205 @ Aug 21 2011, 08:52 PM) normal price for kl area lor..the place where u can get cheaper might be far to u..no choice lar... true.. will check the Tyre Plus shop in DU tomorrow morning. Believe they might be slightly cheaper. i went to Michelin's website to read about XM2. They had a 5 minute plus video. It's about them doing a longevity testing the tyre comparing against 2 other tyres from other manufacturer and XM1. they actually test for a duration of 2 months and covered 51,000km in thailand.... such a serious test. it goes to show how confident they are and their investment on a tyre model.

QUOTE(z8net @ Aug 22 2011, 10:47 PM) Just change mine 195/55/15 PS3 at WSK Auto Service Bandar Sri Permaisuri. RM 280/donut, FOC rubber balancing, alignment, valve and michelin free gift sounds like a very good deal there. did you check if it's an old tyre?

While researching about the tyre online, i found this... “Michelin invests 500 million euros (RM2bil) per annum in research and development and the unique technologies used in the Energy XM2 are a result of our pioneering efforts in the alternating bridging technology that enables our product to deliver greater level of longevity, fuel saving and safety,” sourceNo wonder the tyres are expensive
