what's a recommended tyre for my toyota celica?

currently using bridgestone playz 215/45/R17. its hard like rock. don't know why the previous owner put those tyres. not really good grip too. anyone have experience with 17in rims?

i just changed to goodyear duraplus x4 tires....location at bridgestone tire shop at melawati

1 tire was about 180 free alignment and balancing

overall impression on this tire is definitely good tho steering got a little heavier..non too much but heavier a little.

Good Day,
From my own experience the tyres for 195/55/ R15 is high profile tyres which sacrifice ride comfort with more traction on the road. Disadvantage is tyre worn out prematurely due to high profile standard and bumpy ride too . Especially , Malaysia well known for pot holes. Might damage the rim too.

If i were you, my only choice for economical and comfort ride and without sacrificing lots of traction. The answer is 195 / 60 /R15. That's is my choice because i'm not really racing but seeking lower maitenance only.

Good Luck!

i change mine to that size for rm 180 include free alignment and balancing at bridgestone near caltex at melawati

my first impression is that these tires are quiet!!!!..maybe they are new.....in terms of grip and braking..im no speedster so its quite good..hope to make em last atleast 3-3.5 years

good more normal riding but sure the traction will suffer coz the hard compound... it can last up to 100,000km woh... but still need to change every 3 years... haha more than that the compound of the tires changes so it is quite dangerous to use a tire more than 3~4 years...
