Either Samsung 6 series or Sony 40V400A (that's what i am using) both have VGA input. But rem VGA can only go to 1366 x 760 even if the LCD is full HD.

Sony S-series about the same as V series... just that I did not like the design.

I had a tough time choosing between the two at the end of last year but went with Sony just because Sony Style could do 36x interest free installments. Price wise, after rebates, freebies, both about the same... close to 5K... at that time.
