Hm. just a piece of advice.

After reading some post here, i found there's fairly many people would say "better future course" is their choice. However do realise in fact, there's nothing like "better future course". It's always down to yourself. If you are interested in something, you can do MUCH better. I mean MUCH better compared to things you don't like. Just take yourself as example. You drag your everyday on, facing things you don't like. If you really like something, i believe you'll read everyday and work your way out no matter how hard it is.

We should always first differentiate what's a Job and what's a career. I have a friend who work for a bank as credit card sales. His monthly earning can basically be double of any fresh grads, with his spm cert. But does these work give you what you wanted? will you do for almost rest of your life? (imagine at least 30-40 yrs working) does it satisfy you? Imagine yourself working as an enginner calculating things with physics theories (which you don't like) for.. wow. Of course i don't deny that you can choose to work in other field after your graduation.

Also, no one can project and tell you what position you'll be after your graduation. There's nothing like this course give better prospect, that doesn't. It's all down to yourself. what you like and which position will make you work for your best, not because of the money itself.

Find your way dude. And FYI, the world is spherical. All choice will lead to success so you have to define which way suites you most. =)

I like ur post especially this very much, thanks, i never thought of that, i only think of how engineering can bring a better future, but u are right, i do not want to stick with that for the rest of my life, if its a pressure now, i can't imagine when i am working next time

thanks. though of course do realise the risk involved. the main thing is to able to take the worse out of what happened. (unemployment or forced to work on other field) well, even engineering also you might face the same thing because the result and such? You should make up your mind.

BTW, degree is just a degree. outside world is a whole lot different from just that degree. while some people might still use the knowledge gained, most start from zero and learn everything again.

Try to answer yourself what you really wanted? Is it because you don't like engineering, that's why you 'tentatively' come out with bio stuff? or you REALLY like bio? (this makes alot difference)

Again it's personal opinion. gd luck!

To reply ur last question. Yes I do indeed love bio very very much. Even to the extent of missing it. The feeling is like losing a best friend. Even when studying physics I still think of it. Hence I actually regreted on the first day here . The only reason is because there's alot of money involved already plus the prospect of a brighter future is what motivated me to stay on here .

Hmm.. then i think you know the answer better than i do! okay. all the best dude. do update if you made your decision! =)

Biotech may not have bright future in malaysia, but why limit yourself to malaysia only? How bout' singapore?

Anyway if u are choosing ur university, please do make sure it has good rnd facilities, tips given from my cousin wife which is an interviewer, and she look at uni first before ur degree honours
