I think its too hard for you to continue doing what you are doing now..

"Sigh, i hate going to school now, i hate going to class, studying for something that i don't like"

Are you sure that you can even graduate if this continues? Not to mention whether you can really work as an engineer in the future. Yes, being an engineer may have large earning potential, but do you think you can compete in this field which is so competitive yet you don't even like studying about this field...?

I guess you should go with what you like, what you really have interest in.
