Guus will definitely implement the 4-5-1 formation.

Anyways, just to step up a notch on the hype of tomorrow's game.

Drogba's wonder goal against Barcelona, CL 2005.

Of all Chelsea's goals against us, I remember Lampard's genius strike the most. Y'all surely know which one right smile.gif

Excited to have the opportunity to face you guys again. Hoping for a great match up tonight. smile.gif Make it way better in terms of standards than tomorrow's clash tongue.gif

ahh no screening aye. allright then.

i don't think riccy has any injury problems. probably isn't 100% match fit. so hiddink must be banking on alex's growing consistency levels.
does anyone remember how different barca's current side is compared to the one that lost to utd last season?
their attack remains about the same right? the ones i know who are new to their defensive setup are alves at RB and keita in midfield.
anybody i missed?

I will help you answer this wink.gif

yes, Barca is really different if compared to last season, in terms of tactical strategies smile.gif
yes, our attacker are the same as last year smile.gif
yes, we only bought Pique, Alves and Keita to bolster our defense. I believe however that Keita won't be in starting line up though.
no, you didn't miss anybody. Well, we did add Hleb to our team for our attack, but he was rarely used smile.gif

hey, what about R10 80? sad.gif  already forget him erk... sad.gif
score draw is a good result tonight, but win is even better! biggrin.gif
owh, i thought RC is already displaced by alex (quite surprise if its happen though) due to the latter ability in freekick/setpieces.

so its iva vs henry, alex-JT vs etoo, boss vs messi, and 2 michaels vs xavi-iniesta.....
as a whole, i think their attacking are already better than our defense (feel free to differ  tongue.gif )
but for me the real culprit is messi.

so, really hope for boss to get his job done against that guy. tbh, i prefer essien to play there, using his brute strength against messi small body.. biggrin.gif
lol, well, i think after ronnie and deco leave them, their setpiece/freekick is not as good as previously. then its better to concede foul rather than let him do his magis solo run until in front of our goal... brows.gif
owh, i forgot one more thing. its not boss vs messi, its boss vs messi-alves! sweat.gif

I still remember him, bro. He single handedly brought Barca to greatness again to be frank. Its just that he was largely anonymous last season. With him last season and without him this season, I just can't feel the difference. I do still miss him though tongue.gif

And because of the bolded part I found all this who's-goin-to-mark-Messi is ridiculous. Messi is not the only threat. Guus knows this well. He knows the key for Chelsea to stop Barca is by preparing his players mentally. Chelsea must not get frustrated if they fail to get hold onto the ball. Expect Barca to control the ball over 60% share of possession, and stay guarded all the time.

I'm skeptical what type of tactic Guus will come out tonight.
