have been a vaio user for almost one year VGN SZ75GN. into the second mth fan was out, overheated and killed the power supply. changed in no time at midvalley and was fine. never really faced any major problems.

recently after some updates form microsoft, i had to recover form previous saved mode. then few weeks ago, charger went dead. changed to new charger now power supply wnet dead.cant charge sigh

will be sending in for repairs.

went browsing and looked up the TP series.. its now on discount. ordered online and waiting for confirmation.

comes with McAfee trial for 3 mths... is this better than norton 360?

So far, just trying to figure out how use all the features using the remote.
Its fun so far.. but u have to use windows media player if u wan to use the remote to control playback. I have loads of movies in RM.. *sigh* anywy to convert these to formats tat windows will take?

Also... i love to play karaoke.. but the media player cant access the audio pref using remote...

anyone know where i can learn more about TP3 ?

Pls help, am looking to buy the Viao X. ANy comments? ANy lag running Win7? On the extended Battery, i heard that it needs to be screwed on??

Bought a P23 some months back, its cool and portable but really small, strain to see words...getting old. and the mouse its not that great. SPeaker sound is very low, cant use it to listen to music.. hope the X sounds louder.

have not seen the physical machine yet .. in a 3rd world country right now.

after a day of use, am pretty happy as it worls with most of things i want... can connect with my iphone and use internet via bluetooth.
keyboard feels good... battery standby not too bad...

if this works out , may sell my old z ... hahahhahha

i am using the internet fromm iPhone, so far it depends, on goods days i ahve seen download so 40KBs but usually about 12KBs
using USB or bluetooth just the same i guess.. i just didnt want to charge the iPhone battery when i want to use the internet
