guys, im planning to get a vaio p series.. but from the review i read, it says that this netbook has a long boot time.. is it due to vista os the use? if i install XP or Win 7 will it be faster? btw i heard Sony will launch a new p series model.. kinda an upgrade from their previous P series.. any info on that?

er..does anyone knows when is the exact date the new p series will come up? here in Malaysia.. btw do guys think it will perform better and faster with window 7?

hey guys, my brother in law just bought the new p series model p33 vgn.. the the temperature on idle is about 55'c but the bottom feels really hot, is there any laptop cooler(the one we place under the laptop) for this p series size?

it come with windows 7 starter, now he wanted to upgrade it to win7 home premium..

he called sony service centre to ask on how to upgrade it to win7 starter to home premium, and the operator said he can't, and he also said that win7 starter is design for vaio w series, and if any attempt to upgrade the os will result in possible problems, error,unstable,blablabla and will void warranty..

is it true guys? simply put, can we upgrade win7 starter to premium for w series vaio without those problems mentions above and also without voiding the warranty?
