I looked back to the extended warranty card tat i got from harvey norman and it stated that:

"Harvey Norman, at its sole discretion, may replace your Product with one of a like kind and quality if the Product is not repairable or beyond economic repair. Any such replacement will immediately terminate this Extended Warranty Service Contract."

=) dun make me worried la lol

had the same laptop...bought it 2 days ago .RM3230

damn regret for now...Sony already has battery drain issue with Z,P ,X..now with this latest CW model...

Sony battery draining issues after shutdown/off affect all CW series.....

I shut down when the battery still has 90% left and im sure the laptop is already off...after 8 hours ...i woke up and turn on my laptop...the battery left 70%.

This is a confirm hardware/bios issue which has battery leaking after off. No problem if take out the battery.

What's the point of having a laptop if everytime i need to take the battery out ...And now i can even standby with the laptop coz it will drain more battery

how can i use standby and hibernate now?

Stay Away from Sony CW series...latest model

Anyone bought the new EB series Vaio. The i5 with Full HD, Blueray, finger identification, numeric keypad etc @ RM3999 sounds interesting. Not on sonystyle site though. Please share your experiences the +/- of the new notebook.
