altho i was not a victim of their scam, but i find these leeches despicable n disgusting. u guys shud hit them where it hurts -- their freedom n their pockets. i. mean. serious. business. coz so far they're still happily leeching ard since they can handle a penalty or a tribunal award just fine.

apart from d usual works -- ie. police reports, ttpn (which will only compel them to return part of the money -- u did after all pay 'voluntarily' for some lousy products). i suggest u seek legal help. now i know employing lawyers may be pricey n may go beyond wat u've lost to these leeches, but for those who are of low-income (ie. ALL STUDENTS will invariably qualify), pls go to the KL Bar Legal Aid Centre (its on the 9th floor of the building right opposite masjid jamek lrt station) n file a complaint. u will have lawyers on rotation to assist u on legal matters. just relay ur story carefully n truthfully to them, n they will advise u on ur next course of action. the maximum u'd hav to pay is a measly rm20 to open the file, n the lawyers will follow-up the case for u. u will not be required to pay any legal fees (its something like pro bono work). hopefully u'll hav a good enuf case n u'll hav ur day in court. even if these leeches don appear, they'll hav a violated court summons looming over their heads. this will hav more impact than non-appearance at a consumer's tribunal, or violation of a tribunal award XD

now d keywords for ur story are, eg: 'cheating', 'fraud', 'deceived', 'they misrepresented to me tat blah blah, but i ended up blah blah' n d works don focus on how YOU signed the agmt n handed them d money. focus on how u MISSED the turning point of paying 'govt/ insurance tax' into solely paying for their lousy 'products'. add in d fact tat u were cornered n outnumbered in a small dingy room in the middle of nowhr, thus induced to make payment, n u'd probably hav a good case to start

if u were in fact intimidated n threatened by them ah-beng-gangsters in tat small room, lodge a police report n focus on TAT FACT, not the fact that u were cheated. (of coz add in d fact tat u were cheated as motive for intimidation, but tats not the point). this shud give the police enough reason to raid n arrest (if they're bothered in the first place. i donno.) n follow-up by going to the legal aid centre n ask them for legal advice on such issue. hopefully, they'd be able to drag them leeches to court to answer to tat, or hopefully u'll be able to claim watever amount for the loss/ shock suffered.

but as long as u get the building correct, i'm sure they can refer u to the correct office look for the 'legal aid centre', not d kl bar committee ya

ps: as far as possible, get ahold of evidence of the perpetrators personally involved in ur case (ie. d particular ah-beng-ah-lian). focus on how unfairly they cornered u -- at best its assault/ intimidation/ cheating; at worst its wrongful confinement/ kidnapping/ extortion/ robbery (tats really bad). if u can get d lawyers to issue a letter to tat effect to one of those underage ah-beng-ah-lian in NAME, d rest will scamper away screaming like schoolgirls.

If you seek help from the lawyers, they will get a cut (profit) *IF* you win the case. Who cares if they are sincere or not?

If they are confident that they are going to win the case, you can bet your ass that they are going to 'help' you out and will treat you like their best friends. It's all about the money $$$.
 

You don't know if you don't try. You have two options available:

1. Pay RM20 and find out how the Bar Council/Legal Aid can help.

2. Wait for TTPM to investigate your case which may take months.
As far as I know, bar council = private lawyers, TTPM = government lawyers.

Just like seeking medical help from government hospitals versus private hospitals.

Will you achieve the same results eventually? Yeah. But, the difference here is TIME.

Money buys you time that's why you are going to PAY for it. RM20 is nothing compared to what you have lost to those motherf***ers. Right?

Take action and fight for your rights, fight for your money! Do whatever it takes, black or white whatever floats your boat!
