At least it won't crash 666 times a day like that wretched SOB Safari does.
Most people think Safari is impressive but Opera Mobile on a proper RAM-laden system beats it to pulp with mutlple tabs, flash and NO CRASHES at all. |

WM6.5 here on a 192MB RAM Diamond, 45% idle startup, 2 tabs of Opera only bumps it to 62%. I can open up to 4 without any nuclear meltdown. If you use only 2 tabs (which is all people need for info lookup/reference/easy C-P) I'd have to argue that Opera leads the way. I assume your WM phone has 128/64MB of RAM. In that case, sorry, you're rather SOL (192/256 gives a radically better experience in not just Opera but a heck lot more apps too)  My rather short experience with the iPhone with Safari has been pretty bad. DeviantART, Ars Technica, and I think either Tech Report or Slashdot crashed on me. Can't blame it too much though, AFAIK the 128MB RAM still shows its limits in the end. Especially with the extra needed animations  |
