King 83 - Why not you tell the same thing to technical people like darklight, pizzaboy, John91, JonYeap that their BB knowledge is too technical....just lift heavy and stfu (like what you mentioned it to us).

I find that you are getting silly and annoying by working hard without understanding the science part of it. You think by running hard can burn affective as running at steady state.

Reading and executing are two different items. When one knows more, he/she knows how to execute accordingly.

that's the whole intention...while we are doing weight loss management or toning muscle, we have life....we have family....we have to live happily....heheh rclxm9.gif

I wasn't referring to darklight when i was saying this.
And Pizza, he's more technical when it comes to lifting technique etc...

The Heart Rate Monitor thing was a fine example,
cmon lah... monitoring ur heart rate to every digit?? seriously??
Just run ur hardest and do ur best is what i think. 1 or 2 digits off on the HRM won't matter.
There's a difference in being technical and "too technical".
I'm talking about the latter.

I agree to a certain extend but a HRM is good because for training, you know when to slow down and stuff. Its just a training tool la..
Chill wei smile.gif If it works for you, just do what you do smile.gif Everyone is just sharing opinions.
Btw King, how are you?  =P still working out hard?
*

A HRM to a runner is like a spotter to a weight lifter - it helps a lot but you can do without it.

Sometimes u hv to maintain at certain % of MHR to train for endurance but most ppl dont know how to agak agak this. What if ur weight plates hv no poundages indication?
*
i use the KG indication

I think fast food is the best meal for me when I was on diet. Because every time I eat mcD, the next day I will lose at least half kg. But, I don’t think its work for all people because most of people getting fatter if they eat fast food. Maybe my stomach process differently compare to common people.

Btw, normally I do cardio at least 3 times a week plus 1 day for racquet sports.
*
Same here... i eat McD and KFC when dieting...
I am not sensitive to fats...
But of cos, eat the chicken nia.... dun eat the bun + whipped potato and soft drinks.
