sky.live : possible for 1300 calories but that may mean taking protein supplement as meal replacement though.

Each meal is like 300-400 calories only with 50-100 for 2x snack. Angmo cooking can allow this and I think Japanese home cook meal. Chinese homecook meal - have to jaga a bit but still possible. Prepare to eat a lot of raw salad.

triple02 : with raw oats, try missing some other types of dried fruits other than raisins. Or even using real fruits. Don't put to much but just enough. I like bananas in it - makes it very sweet.

if you cannot cut your ingrown toenail, go and see the doctor before it starts to get septic.

disciple : check with syd g, tengster and pizzaboy. I dunno wor.

Added on April 20, 2009, 8:11 amtriple02 : hmmm...there is a type of wheatgerm mix called Weetabix if you'd like to try it out. That has a lot of fibre and is a known complex carbo.

The only thing is that it contains some white sugar but it's not so much that it's sweet. However, you'll need to account for it when counting how much carbo you take in.

The standard Weetabix doesn't have much white sugar unlike the Weetbix Bites which you can eat whole since it has raisins and more sugar in it.

The other option is trying out mueslis but getting one that doesn't have white sugar or coconut is a bit tough. If cannot avoid white sugar, I just buy the one with the lowest content.

morning peeps...starting the day with 5xtablespoon of oats mixed with Milo and raisins...couldnt bare the taste of plain oats  shakehead.gif also planning to keep down on the calorie intake on the lowside
*
Do you know that it's better to put sugar than milo? No really. Milo has ............. palm oil in it. If you feels like reading the ingredient, pls do so wink.gif

QUOTE(Disciple @ Apr 20 2009, 07:48 AM)
HIIT in an empty stomach, is that okay for an endo?
*
Real HIIT is pretty intense (the level where you wish that you'd die at the very last 10 seconds of the high intensity part) so HIIT is a no no on empty stomach even for endo. Eat something for HIIT - you'll burn the fat afterwards (google HIIT afterburn and calorie partitioning).

---

I'm pretty wasted from yesterday's afternoon run. Will do 30 mins 16% incline walk on threadmill to train teh calves and core work during lunch hr.

Had 3 eggs + nescafe for breakfast (and multivitamin + CLA). Coffee n eggs wub.gif

5 mins very slow jog (5.5km/h) warmup
5 mins faster job (6.0km/h) warmup

First Interval (still warming up):
2 mins 7.0
1 min 9.0

Second Interval (getting there..) :
1 min 7.0
1 min 9.0
30 seconds 11.0

Real Sets Interval (Repeat for 3-6 times)
1-2 min 7.0 (depending on how tired I am)
2 min 9.0
1 min 12.0 << rclxub.gif

Cooldown
2 mins 7.0
5 mins 5.5 very slow jog

My speed and recovery rate are pretty slow compared to others. You should adjust yours accordingly.

Sky.Live,
depending on where I'm at. if I'm at first intense interval n hv 5 to go... I'd dread the resting period cause it's seconds closer to the 2nd interval sleep.gif

but if you're doing hiit and feel like stopping, ask urself first - i want to stop because i dont want to do it or because i cant do it anymore? if you cant then by all means stop cause falling off treadmill aint glamorous.

Do 5mins at 12.0km/h. Awesome koyak orgasm feeling.

Trying very hard to breath in and out.

When I just started, I do...

3mins walk as warm up...

5mins at 8.5km/h, then 3mins at 12.0km/h.

After a month, getting more crazee. 10mins - 15mins at 8.5km/h, 5mins at 12.0km/h. No break in between, straight away continue.

That's where I got my right leg injury, even till now. Haven't recover. FUKKKKK!

DannGunn : I eat oats that come premix together with wheat germ and dried fruits i.e. muesli. It's a bit more expensive because it's imported stuff.

Rather than put in white sugar or milo or honey in oats, try adding fresh fruits and dried fruits in it. The sugar from the fruits will go into the oats. Don't put too much in though, just a bit will do. If you don't want to have white sugar from fruits, buy the dried fruits in organic shops like cranberries and other dried fruits. Fresh fruits may be bananas, apples, pears.

Current stats - 180cm, 103.5kg

I know i can get to 98kg in 30 days, done that too many times now, but i've never been 97kg or less in a long time. So i'll try to get to 97kg if i can...

Weight to lose - 5kg (or 6kg tongue.gif)

oops missed the cutoff date sad.gif

I'm also doing Jillian's 30 Day Shred but stuck on Day 2 since uh last week. It's only 20-minutes but so punishing. It will be great if I can do it for like 30 days straight like some people I've seen online.

Current weight: 74.5kg, 164lbs
Lose: 72.5 kg, 160 (-2 kg by deadline)

I just discovered oats! So simple and tasty. Plain pack of rolled oats. 1/2 cup - 1 cup water in a pot, add 1/2 teaspoon honey with some raisins. Bring to boil then throw in the oats of an equivalent amount. Mix. Let it dry up for like 1 - 2 minutes, keep stirring .. then take out. Add a bit of walnuts or other nuts/seeds for crunch. I'm kinda addicted now.

Wah I salute you, if you do it twice.

I'm scared of Level 2. I previewed it the other day but then it's like 8+ days down the line so maybe can build up to it.

The one I get is not instant. You can check the shelves they are labeled "rolled oats" at Cold Storage, Giant or stores. You can find them in baking goods stores too (cheaper?) and they're nice to make oatmeal raisin cookies and such blush.gif I'm not sure what the difference is with instant but previously I tried those and didn't like them at all. These need to be cooked but like 1-2 min only.

The honey question is a lil weird and I'm no expert but I presume that the honey is less processed than the sugar. Not all sugar is evil maybe in mass quantities biggrin.gif The 1/2-1 teaspoon of sugar is only about 15-25 calories and for me is really worth it in the oats as they give so much flavor. If you add the same amount of sugar it will taste less so. Honey is 'sweeter' (tasting) than sugar so a little goes a long way. Correct me if I'm wrong of course.
