I prefer to subscribe data plan to use the A-GPS function rather than waiting like that. You are using Garmin or Ovi Maps?

if u're not using data to lock your gps signal, chances are i think u r inside a building or at least some large object nearby that is interrupting the signal.
try standing in an open area and find position. i always manage to get a lock when i'm on the highway.

Ya, correct... Sometimes need to select the Waiting for GPS... Then only will work.

Yup. I agree based on my experience.

Are there any ways to tweak the GPS settings for better performance?

My Nokia N86 GPS is not very accurate when compared to my N82. I wonder why. unsure.gif
