Hi, I'm interested in starting a bulk of importing computer casing and wish to know if there's anyone out there kind enough to help me with the steps on how to do the bulk order from the manufacturer, how to pay them, how to ask them to export to our country, and how to receives the stock, etc.

hv u got a supplier yet hmm.gif
usually supplier would be able to advise u on all these.
don't forget that they hv many customers like u.

they can even refer u to their list of transporter/freight forwarder which had been familiar with their company import/export procedures

oppss...the supplier i meant = manufacturer actually.
get in touch with few contacts (manufacturer/supplier) and u'll see the "pattern" of dealing is more or less the same.
from there, u start to do "research" on the payment term/delivery lead time/min order/transport/packing/support on refund or defect item etc...

Agree...the very first step to start off will be sourcing the suppliers/manufacturers, get them shortlisted and deal from there and most of them will be very helpful to help to get things done.

If you are thinking of buying direct from manufacturer, instead of distributors and suppliers, perhaps you have to be ready for certain amount of bulk or wholesale purchase, as most of them require quite a big MOQ (minimum order quantity).
