Hi there. I have asked some information from a senior who studies this course IT. Yes, indeed UTHM is not that well known. It has just upgraded to uni level n changed d name frm Kuittho to UTHM at 2007. Well UTHM is expanding for now. The Faculty of Information Technology & Multimedia was established since 2004. UTHM provides an environment for studies in which even UTM often come to UTHM for d more advanced facilities. UTHM is located in Parit Raja which is a 30-40mins drive from Batu Pahat Town, Johor. In this IT course, mostly lecturers use english as a medium to conduct teachings in class. Quite many females taking this course @UTHM too. In this course the students will learn all about computers, programming, subjects which is related to IT etc etc.

The career prospects in the IT field includes becoming a Software Engineer, Programmer, System Analyst, System Design, System Consultant, Database Administration, System Developer, Information System officer, System Administrator, Program Analyst, Information System development, E-Trading ,Network Administrator, Network Manager, Network Consultant, Network Engineer, Web Administrator, Network Analyst, Executive Support, Multimedia Programmer, Illustrator Design, Content Design, Script Writer, Storyboard, Graphic Programmer, Graphic Artist, Audio &Video Editor,2D & 3D animator etc etc.

I will be joining UTHM in 2 days time.. I'm offered bachelor of civil engineering degree n will be staying in perwira residential college... I have a few enquiries in my mind bout the place to stay.. is the place under wifi connectivity? how many persons per room? are we placed to stay wit sum1 of the same race? what r we supposed to wear during orientation and after orientation?

hi there, well erm...not really. UTHM doesn't have an actual open day. but u do can visit our uni any time. I can be tourguide if u wan haha.. =)
