1. Backup your data
Select Diskette Drive E:\BACKUP2009 (any drive that u wish)
Harddisk Directory C:\UBSAAC90\DATA (must same as your default directory)
file name appear will be BACKUP.ACC under folder BACKUP2009
2. Restore your data
Select Diskette Drive E:\BACKUP2009 (location of backup)
Harddisk Directory C:\UBSAAC90\DATA (must same as your default directory)
It does not work if you rename it like this E:\backup\backup2009 during backup coz when u restore it does not work.
Therefore u rename the folder so you will know when you backup.
So it will always like F:\BACKUP28FEB2009 or E:\BACKUP31MAR2009 and the file name under this folder will always be BACKUP.ACC.
Some taught me to use C:\BACKUP\30042009\ to indicate the backup date so that its easier for restore. I have not try it.
Alternatively (and the easiest to do),
My Computer -> Drive C -> UBSACC90 -> Copy & Paste Folder 'Data' into any drive u want.
When you want to use the file in other pc, just Copy & Paste the Folder 'Data' into UBSACC90.
Do remember that UBSACC90 only appear after u install the software into the pc.
Either you 'restore' or 'copy & paste', it will re-write the original data.
To be in the safe side, u can always have more than one file under ubs software.
Where beside DATA folder u can have DATA01, DATA02, ABC2009 XYZ2009 etc.
I hope you understand what i wrote.
P/S: i'm a self-taught ubs software user.
