Congratulation to all gps owner that new members in family.So happy...

Today I went to Sunway Piramid and visit the pet shop there. Saw the gps there was wearing shirt...at first glance it look cute on them...then i shop a bit and bought a gp toilet there...then after paying i keep an eye on the gps that with clothes...was standing there quite some time and then i felt one of the gp seem like got itchy body and wanted to scratch it but cannot cos got clothes cover it fur...look at it so pity...so i told the salesman can i have a look at the piggy. It was a white cream abby with red eyes...it cost abt RM130. Hahaha of course I wont buy a gp cost that much I just wanted to help the gp.
The gp was so vulnerable as it cannot talk so look at it stressful face I told the salesman i want to see that piggy..and ask him to take the clothes off.I hold that little fella and talk abit with the gp(sound crazy) and petting it. It just stay still and lick my finger...auwww...so sweet...but still no money to buy it. I told the salesman can he do me a favour...pls dun put the clothes onto that gp...it is torturing...and he look at me and say ok ok. So i give him back the gp with a heavy heart...give that salesman a pat on his back and say thanks for your understanding.anyway I wish the gp all the best and hopefully can find a good owner...I walk back to the petshop after I went to Giant opposite the shop and see whether the salesman keep promise ma...(kepoh hor) but no choice la...I pity those fellas...one even got botak spot on it's head...sakit hati i saw that...No choice la...hope it all can make it to the new home~~

congratz...may the baby grow up healthy n happily....

Added on May 23, 2009, 9:46 pmI bring my Cody to Dr. Jenny on Friday because his butt area thr having abit like infection....Dr. Jenny said it's like the pee burn that area
give me something like iodin to put on 2 times per day....she also help me to trim abit fur at the affected area...she so cute said Sorry to cody...haha...coz to make him not handsome....im so happy dr. jenny keep saying Cody is a very handsome boy n said it's a rare breed...as i thk he's a mix breed...got funky hair in front...after tat she request to take my Cody picture with her handphone...

Seems weird if you guys said that most the piggy here wont use the toilet when u put the grid on it
Because mine is toilet trained thou
On 1st day I took her back home I throw all her poos inside the tray and in 2 days, whenever she wanna pee n poo she will just sit on top of the grid and do her business.. and this is why I only clean her cage once a week
as for the tray I use water on bottom easy to clean rather than BC or newspaper, so I changed it twice a day. Just throw the water n poos at toilet and flush, wash the tray and fill in water then put it back again

Me too. I used same technique as you, used water in the litter tray. Its economical and cleaner, but best of all, no smell. As for the grid, i did placed precut bathroom mat on top of the grid. One tip, you can also add some soap water on the litter tray to prevent the poo from sticking to the litter tray.

They are so adorable...and chubby too...LOL.

It is because each GP have their own characteristics and also behavior. Some will adapt to litter training.. some wont and will just take time. I guess you were lucky to get them trained in just a few days

I think I will get my piggies more used to peeing n pooing in the toilet box b4 trying to put a grid on top again. Using water is economical I guess, nvr occured to me to try it tho, somehow feels geli to me to imagine all the poos floating around in their "piggy" toilet bowl, haha

sad story wanna share........
i balik kampung for my brother wedding from 15/5 - 20/5 at perlis
then my sister in-law at mlaka offer to take care of my 7 gps
the sad thing is lily give birth of two baby but my sis told me the baby
already died when she give birth.
on friday, i going back to mlaka to take all my babies home
all of them look fine but yesterday afternoon when i want to clean
they cage before go back to kl, saw lulu died....
don't know why, suddenly died now 6 left ...hope all of them will fine and healthy
and loly is pregnant now, hope she will deliver a healthy babies

Is it LuLu's the one who giving birth that day?

New Update: After my female GP give deliver to a baby, 2 of my Male GP start to fight with each other. It nvr happen like tis b4 but dunno why it happen after my female gp giving birth. I have made 2 reasons for the fighting which is 1. They are fighting to be the Babys' Father =.=. 2.They are fighting for the female GP because she's available now. so i have to saperate them in 3 cages now. But now, it's abit waste space because using 3 cages. Is there any solution for the 2 male not to fight? P/S: The female and the baby is in the different cage.

Hi chamy, after female GP give birth they go into heat again so probably thats why the males fight. I guess you need to put their cage far apart so they can't smell the female

waaa 3 gps=3 cages, yaaa it's a bit waste but to avoid them from fight each other
it's the best way i think
