Nice and clean setup.

How big is the HT room?

Plan to do any sound treatment?
*
The room is 21 x 18. Sound treatment is in my list - but it would be the last thing to do after i have upgraded my speakers smile.gif

Nice room nyquil.

Yes, getting a good sub will really anchor the HT experience. Together with new speakers, it will be a magnitude higher than what you are used to with your Yamaha set.

I see you have the walls and ceiling painted grey. I would suggest you also paint the wall behind the screen darker.
*
Thanks for the advise. Will definitely change the speakers and sub nod.gif

Thank you all for the comments. I believe there are still room for improvements and i will need to learn more from all of you. Either sitting behind the screen watching how all the exchange of info happening in the forums or visiting 'poison' rooms drool.gif

Doc, your HM gave you the green light to build a dedicated HT room. What are you waiting for (apart from the funding)?

Yeah without a sub you're missing out on a lot of the LFE. Get a sub! It'll transform your HT experience.
*
Yup, i vouch for that! biggrin.gif It will "literally" transform your HT experience, like WOW! shocking.gif Serious!
