Hi guys,

i bought an sharp 830m led tv a month ago, connect with philips 5.1 home theatre set. but i encountered some problem. sometimes when i am playing PS3, it will suddenly go back to philips home theatre "home screen" menu. this is very annoying its not just 1 & 2 times, sometimes it happen very frequently.

anyone can tell me what's the issue am i encountering?thanks in advance

besides i put in game mode, but it display in 60hz, why it's not 100hz or above?how to do setting on this?thanks

Go into your Philips set and look for something like HDMI Settings, and then disable the HDMI CEC (I think Philips calls it EasyLink).

If it's not there, look into your TV's HDMI settings and disable the same (should be called Aquos Link).

Not familiar with game mode, but PS3 renders games in 60Hz only (at least for Asia and US, may differ in Europe). Run through the PS3's display settings again, it may not support all the refresh rates available on your TV.

i hav a sony led tv model 46ex65a model with a blu ray player, my tv is connected to wifi dongle, my question is

i wan share my internet connection with my blu ray, they say 1.4v hdmi cable with ethernet one can support, but i purchase a oem rm45 cable, stil can on9, any solution?
*
The Blu-ray player's HDMI input would need to support the Ethernet channel, which AFAIK is not enabled for most devices out there.

I don't really understand what you mean by OEM RM45 cable or on9 though. If you mean using RJ45 Ethernet cable, it's not possible to share your TV's WLAN connection to your Blu-ray player.

The HDMI 1.4 spec supports Ethernet, but the device it is connected to needs to have the Ethernet channel open to support it, which is not supported by most manufacturers at this point in time.

Also, Internet sharing is generally not a matter of hooking up one device to another with a cable, the source device would need to have some sort of feature to share its Internet connectivity. In layman's terms, think Windows' Internet Connection Sharing service.

What's your budget? It doesn't get any better than the Oppo BDP-93 or BDP-103 smile.gif

Didn't need a stepdown transformer cos Oppo themselves confirm that the power supply is universal. Just need a plug converter and you're good to go.

Hi guys,

I've just bought a Panasonic Smart Viera E6. Problem is, I can't find any audio output port. How do I output my audio to the home theater set?
*
Check the manual to see if any of the HDMI ports have ARC (Audio Return Channel). The ARC-enabled HDMI port allows for input/output simultaneously.

I was using the NS-P380 (actually still using them as my rear speakers).

Performance of these speakers aren't too bad, although don't expect them (esp. the front speakers) to be as good as larger speakers.

I do have God of war 3 as well but is not really surround. Is that 5 speakers also had sound coming out.

God of War 3 has 7.1 audio. Just have to ensure your receiver is powered up and your PS3 is connected to it via HDMI. Go through the audio setup process again, and the surround options for your PS3 games will be made visible.
