In the kingdom of the blind, the one-eyed man is king
|
QUOTE(DannyOP @ Dec 6 2010, 08:53 AM) we no longer live in the 60s where land is cheap. Even leasehold agriculture land in faraway places like Kelantan costs RM30-50k an acre, and you can't just buy an acre. Most land titles come in hundreds of acres or thousands of acres, meaning you have to be able to spend millions just to buy so called 'cheap' land.

QUOTE(yonggoh @ Jan 25 2011, 12:30 AM) hi guys... not yet fired up the thing..in fact...not even decided where i'm gonna put the damn thing yet... *shrugs* definitely NOT on the floor like as shown in the pic... need to buy a metal scoop and those cardboard boxes for the authentic cinema feel Soon you'll have a ticketing system with numbered seating and, if budget permits, even a part-time usherer to check ticket stubs

QUOTE(ronaldkwok @ Jan 28 2011, 11:32 AM) I think this will also qualify as part of my HT setup. For my 60th birthday, the wifey bought for me an exclusive permanent Gold Class seat (admit one only) for my BD viewing pleasure; how sweet of her! See, it is even diamond studded that looks like plastic! This is a far cry from my previous 3rd class seat that I bought for myself, sigh. Just leave it to the ladies to do the shopping. You are free to copy the photo (the first one or the second one, depending on your wish) to show to your wife or gf as suggetion for Valentine Day's gift. Good luck. This is a home library set up Where's the AV stuff?

Ronald, the satellite speaker look like it's out in orbit Kudos to you. If the movie is long and draggy you can always take out a book and read to kill time, I guess.
