i would suggest for a beginner, just stick to your allowed budget. everybody has thier own preferences and for your case - you'll become more confuse. after couple of years, you'll know what you want. icon_rolleyes.gif

very unusual - i'm using 4811 driving Wharfedale Diamond CS (centre) and 9.4 (front) at -8db. so far no issue at all. few things, you need to check.

1) Calibrate using Audyssey.
2) Set the speaker to 'small'.

mind asking - what's the cause? also with brand like B & W - shouldn't the dealers here do a '1-to-1' replacement, afterall it's still under warranty. sad.gif
