QUOTE(klimal @ May 27 2012, 10:45 PM) Had chance to experience 11.2 system with 3 stereo power amps and a 4311, and dual Rythmik FV15HP. Thank you for hosting jchong and I . FOTP plane roll was incredible aiks...no one invites me btw, watched Sting - Live in Berlin last night....toggle between 7.1 and wide speakers selection, I found that especially for orchestra music, the detail of imaging and layering is much much better with wide speakers, you can clearly hear the 3 different rows of violins on the left, the double bass in front of the drums on the right and the big bangs ar the far left. When switch over to 7.1 (btw, the concert is in 5.1 dts-ma), the sound become very thin and the imaging seem like missing in action...will try some stereo music and test with the Auddesey DSX see if it can do magic.... and b4 I forget, the Sting concert is very very good, sharp image with lots of details and wonderfully great music, if you like his works, it's a keeper and I can watch it many many times, highly recommended.

QUOTE(squall_12 @ Jul 31 2013, 11:14 AM) yep based on online review sony hw50es is the best for 2d and 3d projector but i cant afford it as it should be over 10k in malaysia and i am only currently using acer h9500bd projector which is quite good for for budget ppl like me Sony HW30ES is now below RM10k, add a Darbee and you get almost same performance of the HW50ES alternatively, the Epson TW8000 (5010 in USA) also cheaper now with the TW9000 (5020 in USA) in the market

QUOTE(B18C-R @ Aug 9 2013, 11:37 PM) Max, My PC12NSD is already causing 'wars' at home already la with my HM and kids. Now Im trying hard to find a reason to take one room for HT.tough battle coz 4 + 1 room and only 3 left..1 is my study so left 1 upstairs or 1 downstairs (abt 11.5.' x 8' x 10' lwh)..too small I think for my svs and f2 + s2 combo and at 11.5' don't think make any sense to go PJ maybe get another 60" or 65" plasma. Btw, will my Klipsch F2 floor stand n PC be too huge for such small room ? I want to invest on acoustic treatment or absorbers if need to coz i think the room too small sure will reflect soundwave like crazy..hehe Upstairs room or even upstairs family room with doors much bigger but will Be a challenge coz the vibration will reach master room at night so I'm in a dilemma now left with a small room / store downstairs. Tough hobby...sigh. Buy a new house
