You are right, it the earth grounding, my Desktop has the same problem also.

Why not put your center speaker in front of your TV instead of on top, that should give you better clarity

Tried before, but the speaker will blocked the lower screen...

i guess ur usage as below:

u want to play MV from laptop. at the same time sing song using DVD de karaoke.
it is not possible because ur bluray only do HDMI switching.

An enquiry, example Denon AVR-1612 amplifier, what is the sound quality by using coaxial cable connect from BD player to Amp compare to using HDMI cable?

By using HDMI, you will be able to get DTS Master Audio or Dolby TrueHD or Multi channel uncompressed PCM. By using coaxial or optical, you only get DD or DTS.

plan to upgrade my sony S190 to better player, but I found most of the BD player has only one HDMI output, as we know HDMI carries both video and HD audio, then how should I connect player to amp and TV?

U connect player to amp using HDMI and amp to TV also using HDMI (for this part amp only sends the video to TV, amp itself will process and output the audio to the speakers).

most AVR only take audio and pass-thru video signal. by theory its same quality
unless it is state to perform video processing, then u have to check out demo from seller

Btw I just realized that there is Cinavia issue on Sony player, i watch ori BD but my daughter watch pirated (of course) and I just got to know that few of her DVD had muted after 20min of watching on my Sony. Search throught internet found some ppl said they able to remove Cinavia from Pioneer player, dont know how throught is that...
Btw I am now cracking my head on which player should I buy....%^%&*^&%
