Yep. But not yet calibrate. Ran Audyssey but think it is not accurate. It had the center at -10dB. Need more time to adjust.

Added on April 5, 2011, 10:14 pmThere were some scratches on the tweeters. Posted it on Paradigm's facebook and got an inmediate reply. They sent me replacement tweeter from Canada. Just finished replacing them. (sent last Friday got them today)

Nice customer service by Paradigm. Did you have to return the old tweeter?

Nope. Old tweeters still with me. Odd is that they sent it from their HQ and not from Asiasound.

Saw the bill. Tweeters $40 x 2. Shipping $50. All FOC.  rclxm9.gif

Which fb page you comment on? Maybe its monitored by Paradigm directly and they decide to warranty you directly instead of going thru asiasound?

35k for a 120" screen??!?!!

The local rep is making a big fat profit! I saw the UK price list and for 120" it's only £2160. In Europe about 2970 euros: http://www.logicalstore.com/index.php?page...emid=33&lang=en

Mikapoh,
U should ask him to go for mezzo series i suppose.. hahaha..or even other brands . Aviano consider entry level speakers.. One day i will go for dyns....kenak dyns poisoned....lol

rclxms.gif Btw, your 2/6 looks bigger than i remember them to be. Im curious about you PS Audio Amp, how much were they brand new? (pm me if you dont mind)

Dyn for HT, really gotta get kick ass amps, my friend is a dyn collector, he had a temporary setup with Denon amp, Confidence C2 for front, Confidence center, and DM2/8 for rear, dual sub 250... my ears nearly bleed when he demo Final Fantasy 13 on the PS3 to me. really need amps which are powderful to push otherwise the harshness is unbearable.

I think he replaced the Denon with a huge Anthem multichannel amp and processor. I have yet to audit that.

mainstream brand would be all those brands that you could see/heard in tv commercial & commercially available in any electrical store.

I think your interested in names like mission, whaferdale, paradigm, monitor audio, dali, psb, quad, b&w, acoustic energy, sonus faber and my favourite dynaudio.. : )

honestly 1.5k cant touch those brands, unless you just want a 2.0 system. even then. 1.5k is very entry level.

Hi Guys,

am a newbie at this but have recently claimed a free Home Theatre System.

My very simple setup is :

TV : Samsung 32" (unsure of model :S)
HTS : Philips HTS3510 (5.1)

Am just wondering how to fully maximize my home theatre system for a novice/amateur like me. cheers!

Start with good placement wink.gif

if you have a good graphics card, it might not be that bad compared to your player. sometime pc can support more format than the player. that why most ppl build htpc.

yea you need hdmi to connect your laptop to ur player to get the hd sound
