All I can say its a crap processor for gaming, he is better off with dual core E8400.

again, why it is crap for gaming?if for OC ya la, i understand the lack of the proc, but why crap for gaming?
im using it fine gaming+multitasking+3D modelling and bla2...btw, sry for talking to much...hehe

Its not crap...

Im playing crysis at 1680X1050 at high setting with no problem..

smooth...


Dont need much powerful proc as im not gaming at 1900X1080.

1680X1050 or below is enough for me...


multitasking and video editing is fine with me....much more faster....

I know..i appreciate all of ur advice....i bought the ATI HD4870,caviar black as u all had suggested..

Just the proc after talking to the guy at Gadget zone...he says no need to go that high on quad..

U should invest in cooling solution more be coz u ll be using the rig for 24/7...

ur right...the proc aint crap....itll work fine with everything etc etc....

they just call it crap coz for the same amount of money u could get a significantly better processor like the E8400 for gaming.

especially since the number of games that utilizes muti-core now is minimal. most games benefit more from clock speed than number of cores.
