recently ( 29 oct - now ) my download speed dropped sooooo much. before tat, i download a 1GB thing, it only takes me around 3 to 4 hours, but now it takes more than 1 day to download... -.-"

i did a speed test, however it shows so marvelously, but still its so slow when comes to downloading stuff...

Maybe its the download server u try to get,like MU always congest early in the morning giving slow speed.

I've been a P1 Wimax subscriber since October 15. My main problem is that the P1 agent submitted my account registration using the wrong promotion offer (P1 anniversary promotion) when I had already submitted my Streamyx bill during registration in order to obtain the Potong Now! promotion which promised RM160 of discount (activation fee + registration fee) and free first month access. So right now I have a RM90+ bill which I shouldn't need to pay if the agent had correctly done his job.

Btw, I had informed P1's careline through e-mail TEN FREAKING DAYS AGO. Please do something about this, thanks.

'Try' calling them instead emailing. Try literally try coz last time I try called them more than 10 times to get through. Also called the reseller too

I just received my modem today and connection is slower than my previous Streamyx 384kpps even though the package I having now is RM99 per month.
Now is still the promotion period and after this period, I really doubt it will be improved the situation.
My account is 102385606, please call me to inform me that my connection is repaired.... I do not wish to hear excuses as these will give me excuse to cancel the package immediately.

Move your modem to find a best location, otherwise return to them within trial period.

hey, firmware updates! what's new about the firmware?

back to topic. i might have complain a bit too early.
i notice that the base station that i am connected to is different from previously connected.
BSID 00:00:12:A1:09:01, new base station? drool.gif or wrong base station? shocking.gif
i move my modem a bit and the signal strength change to green. good.

RSSI: -80.31 dBm
CINR: 21.63 dB
TX power: 14.61 dBm (Max. 27.50 dBm)

but i am not able to get the RSSI any higher. so my new questions are,
where is this base station located? which direction should i point my modem to?
hope this change solve my problem once and for all! (finger crossed...)
i might consider upgrade in plan if the problem is solved, might...

after whole night not able to connect... i connected back to the old base station: 00:00:12:A1:08:93.
what happen?

i get better RSSI but lower CINR... why can't i have both at better?
and the speed... back to "usual"... sad.gif

TX power: 11.08 dBm (Max. 27.50 dBm)

whole night unable to connect until now but my modem was so weird tonight, it abort the connection and ALL 3 LED are blinking together! shocking.gif

after i restart the modem..my window's network connection keep change between the cable is unplug and enable..nid to off it and wait some minute only can back to normal and it happen 2 times tonight..what problem to my wimax? shocking.gif

I think they are updating your firmware to 5.8..

Anyone has their firmware updated?

Y'day P1 was downed & I switched it off...Morning received Email informing of firmware update...but line is ok since Morning..

I'm not sure whether Y'day was due to firmware update..My latest firmware is:

R4.6.1.0-20926-v5.8.0p

Anyone can check is this the latest? coz the speed also very siao wan...I can get up to:
