My current P1 Wimax is registered with my address in Puchong. Can i use it in either Johor or Kepong?

Also, are there any of you folks using it in Puchong Utama area? How is the performance like? This is the second using it. What do you all think? I am getting worried by all the comments above.

does P1wimax need to do port forwarding for download torrents ?

i'm currently still thinking about getting p1. but after a lot of complaint here, i'm getting worried.

so, i would like to know, if after the trial period, and the network is getting worst day by day, will it be possible for me to terminate the services without getting paid for the penalties?

On your Billing Statements, there is an error "Billing period"?
Examples:
Bill Date: 28/10/2009 and Billing Period: 28/09/2009 - 28/10/2009
Bill Date: 28/09/2009 and Billing Period: 28/08/2009 - 28/09/2009
Bill Date: 28/08/2009 and Billing Period: 28/07/2009 - 28/08/2009

I have already paid for Aug28 on my Aug bill, why I am paying again in Sep bill?
I have already paid for Sep28 on my Sep bill, why I am paying again in Oct bill?

Please advise?

when trial period...signal...super superb...
after trial....slow..then...super slow...then super superb slow...
u can try if u don't believe....

Hi Lowyat_P1W1MAX,

Update. The technician called me yesterday and promise to drop-by my house to check on the signal and speed. As promised, he came on time and check all the signal and speed. Apparently since yesterday onward, I getting a good signal and speed.

Today morning, getting ard 1.61Mbps (download) and 0.06Mbps (upload). So the signal is around 5/10 range.

The intermittent lagging of speed - mostly happen during night time due to many people using it. Therefore, nothing much can the technician do since the signal is alright. He will check on the station for further checking.

However, think you can close the case ID 307924. If anything happen, will let you know. Thanks for support.

may i knw the base station congested issue being fix d? coz i still annoying with the same problems as u guys say that it will be fixed on november last moth.

Customer feedback:

the suspend service after 1 month of unpaid bill is rather harsh. compare this to telco which usually suspend after 3 months or when your bill reach a certain limit.

let me share my case with you.

i pay by CC over internet. due to line issue, i double clicked and was billed 2x by bank while only 1x was paid to P1 (reflected in both my payment history and also my banking history). Of course, this being a banking issue, i promptly resolved with bank and get 1x rebated into my bank account.

bank being the idiot they are somehow also reversed the payment made to p1.

p1's fault is not informing me of this reversement (until now, my latest bill and payment history still show full amount paid), so come billing cycle and my account was promptly suspended automatically for missing more than 1 month payment.

now i understand that these account suspension is computer automated and p1 themselves did not realize it. but it can be avoided by giving more payment leeway than pay each month or suspend account.

Im one of the frustrated P1 subscriber. enough said about the services. i just want to know one thing.

can i downgrade?

streamyx can, jaring can, why p1 cannot downgrade?

i want to downgrade to the lowest package to end my misery with this p1 relationship and cut my losses. another 18 month to go and i can go to hospital sakit jiwa like this.

please p1 lowyat rep, answer me???

I was thinking to downgrade to 1.2Mbps since i cant even hit 2.4Mbps (Max 180kb/sec) what the point paying RM199 w/o the speed. vmad.gif

Scream at Lowyat_P1W1MAX !!! Looks like he is ignoring you. He answered other people's questions but not yours. Just scream at him & track and reply to his every post ...

Alternatively, you will have to spend some time finding the best feng shui for your modem. Do you know how to do that ? (You may be tempted to imitate the guy in the Streamyx advertisement, taking your modem and laptop out the window, but believe me, this is dangerous...)

Ok, dance around your house with the P1 modem + power supply (no need internet cable), plug in the power, and see which spot likes up the green LED. If there isn't any spot which gives you the green light, spent a bit of money, call and wait for technician to come and then throw the modem at him...(of course you'll still sane enough to know when I'm joking, don't you ??)
