well...
just to ask few questions...

1. Is it worth getting GTX275 than getting the GTX260+ Sonic216 (overclocked) ? [In terms of price and performance]

2. Do Silverstone 560W True Power sufficient to operate GTX275 ?

Thanks in advance !

ic..so the seller allow for exchange to another brand? great then. After return from RMA, don't know will them fixed the issue? Right now using sapphire hd 4890 OC edition, the fan making loud noise and dissipated a lot of heat when gaming and overclocking, the VRM temp can go up as high as 120 deg also, damn scary  blink.gif

check your fan speed, try adjust it manually

well i thought of this...
that overclocked gtx260 is more less like stock gtx275...
so the overclocked gtx260 would be the one ?
but nevertheless, gtx275 launched this year ritee..so the technology compared to last yaer`s card would be different..

i don think there is any technology difference between gtx260+ and gtx275...

basically the only difference is : gtx275 have 240 stream processors while gtx260+ have only 216 and lower clock speed.

Hai, I am thinking of buying a gtx275, but just wonder is it worth to pay extra RM100 for gtx280 or extra RM500 for gtx285 ? I only use for gaming, no over cloaking. I heard the performance is only small difference comparing gtx275 to gtx285.

it's not worth for u to pay rm100 more for gtx280 coz gtx275 wins in every benchmark than gtx280..but if u want fastest single card,u can add rm500 for gtx285..if u have more money,it's better u go for gtx285.. brows.gif
but if u can't afford 2 buy gtx285,u also can OC ur gtx275 to match gtx285..

Wong koko, so far Palit custom fan is not that bad, the noise level is thumbup.gif

GTX260+ 65nm
GTX260+ 55nm
GTX275
GTX285

Well,i've personally tested my 65nm GTX260+ last time,as long as you can oc your GTX260+ to 750MHz/1600MHz/1200MHz Core Shader and Memory, the card performance is 3DMark06 is far away from GTX285 minor oc biggrin.gif , (more than 20k in 3DMark06)
I've said minor oc in 285 because i cant get 285 into heavy oc,the card give me BSOD or freeze during the test, and the score is around 18500 to 19500 like that ( comparing card only, all CPU is the same speed and spec )
As for GTX275, i getting one this week, will update you guys see how far i can go.

*55nm of GTX260 is a poor oc-able card compared to 65nm one

Thanks, what about add RM1000 for gtx295 ? I saw previous thread gtx295 almost 2 times better than gtx275. If comparing 2 x gtx275 and single gtx295 ? My reason asking is I don't want regret later when bought, I don't mind add up some to get better one, if add RM1000 from gtx275 can get more than 100% better performance then I can squeeze one month meal to pay for it. brows.gif

if u can add more money for satisfaction, better wait for ASUS Mars la..that's fastest gc right now brows.gif
if comparing gtx295 n gtx275 sli,gtx 275 sli has better performance than gtx295,n higher power consumption 2.. sweat.gif

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/geforc...x-sli,2298.html

but now not many game can utilize dual gc..some of them u hav to wait for new sli driver for the game..u hav to consider ur proc also so that it will not bottleneck ur gc..
can u give ur pc spec?

GTX295 (except MArs) is combined both GTX260 inside, so compare by theory, SLI GTX275 is better in term of performance but worse in term of power, heat, noise and space consumed.

SLI is better than CrossFire in term of game supporting issue, and nvidia drivers are far more powerful rclxm9.gif
