this can sound stupid but how to buy a contact lens?
i actually know how to wear a contact lens because i have wear it two years ago. it is a free try pair from acuvue. after the free try expire, i never wear it again. only spectacles until now.

nowadays feel like wearing contact lens back. so i'm asking how do i go into the shop and ask for it. i don't wanna go through all the trouble of the sales people teaching me how to use contact lens again.

thanks for those who help. i know i sound stupid and silly.

yes there are few methods to remove refractive error.

orthokeratology and lasik.

if u want to try orthokeratology, pls pm me as i have finally found some1 that is very good at it, more than 90% successful rate. if not, he will only take half the total charge.

if u want me to refer to good lasik eye specialist, pls pm me also. thanks

please google for more info.

brief intro : orthokeratology is by using RGP lens to remove eye power. lasik is removing part of the corneal thickness to remove power.

cost is range from 3k to 10k.

lasik treatment fail then vision will be worse than before surgery, orthokeratology seldom fail provided the optometrist is good. thanks

Thanks for your brief info, at least it give a slightly idea what the hell are those...

Just as I expected, the cost is meant for the rich people after all.

Well, at least I won't go blind if any of the treatments failed? Kinda relief to heard that actually. smile.gif

Do you know where i can find day & night contact lens here in malaysia? i couldn't find it anywhere sad.gif Right now I'm using air optix.

Also, is it okay if I sleep with my air optix lenses on? sometimes i wear them on for 5 days straight at most without ever removing it because i don't feel like i have to (unlike when i was using acuvue, my eyes felt so dry & i removed them every night). i remove them during the weekends because i have to wake up early in the morning on weekdays to get ready for school. i'm too lazy in the morning to even bother with contact lenses. lol tongue.gif blush.gif i've been wearing air optix for over 4 months now (not the same ones of course. i change to a new pair every month). no problems so far. blink.gif

ABDO or FBDO is not optometrist qualification, its optician. thanks

yes, i get to know them since early 2008. i have never tried them before thus i do not know much about them but i know at least 2 color lens companies have sent the geo, rubeo and G&G lens to ministry of health and optical council to check and complain. all optometrists doubted the FDA approval of the lens. thanks
