You are right, that's why there are two machines. 1 should act as a back up if something goes wrong with the main one. So far after 15 months running the LG non stop during day time and sometimes even at night time, no problem at all except clogged drainage system which happens to all machines due to heavy workload. This can be fixed easily. About the speedqueen and electrolux, the machine costs more than triple compared to the Toshiba but if you're planning to buy only 1 machine, then the choice is yours.
